We are two experienced British translators based in France specialising in scientific, medical and technical translation from French and German into English. John is a graduate physiologist/biochemist with research experience in pharmacology and Margaret is a graduate linguist who has specialised in the medical sciences. We translated our first scientific papers while working for the Pharmacology Dept. of Glaxo Laboratories in the 1970s, and have worked for a wide range of international companies and institutions since. In recent years our daughter Helen, who is an independent medical translator in her own right, has worked with us on many translation projects. She has a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées and a PhD from Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse. She has published scientific papers in both English and French while working in French CNRS and INSERM units. Helen will help you with your English to French translations  |
